2 weeks of eating right … It shows!!
So before I get into how much weight I loss, I just want to thank you all for the amazing support you gave me after my Wednesday blog post, Dear Hater, you inspired me today. You guys are such an awesome group of people that follow along my journey. I can’t give enough thanks, Much love to you all 🙂
Alright so now for the reason of this blog post. Yesterday I weighed in, and I was kinda surprised!! On October 1st I weighed in at 608 pounds, and yesterday I was …… 586, that’s 22 pounds!! It was a good feeling to see that big of a number. I went in thinking maybe around 15 at the most, based on my BMR and calories eaten plus the gym workouts. Speaking of eating I guess I should let you all in on how that is going. I’m averaging under 2000 calories on my off gym days and right around 2300 on my gym days. My macro breakdown averages 55% Carbs 27% Protein 18% Fat, that was last week. On my off gym days I try to go a little lower carb and higher fat, however I try to keep the average below 20%, because in the past that made me feel good. I also know that fat intake effects my type 2 diabetes, in making it worse.
I like to keep eating really simple. Oatmeal is my everyday morning breakfast, sometimes I add protein powder, or peanut butter. Lunch is usually veggies, beyond beef meat crumbles or their chicken strips, rice, and pasta sauce. Dinner is usually the same except I take out the rice and add more veggies or zero calorie noodles, and 1-2 snacks a day. I’ll go more in depth next week. I’ve been wanting to do a video on it, just haven’t wanted to do it bad enough to actually do it!! Haha
So there it is, I’m well on my way to reaching my final goal of losing a lot of weight and getting healthy. UP UP AND AWAY!!!!!
